Everything you need to know about a cyber security audit

Seminar for internal auditors

Within the framework of our educational activities and cooperation with the Czech Institute of Internal Auditors (CIIA), we prepared and held another seminar for internal auditors on 27 September, this time on the topicAll you need to know about cyber security auditing, with the subtitle Quickly, concisely, clearly.

The seminar was led by our experienced auditor Libor Štourač, and during the morning session we focused mainly on how difficult it is to audit the cyber security area if you are not an IT specialist, what parts of the audit you can handle on your own, or where you need to invite help. We defined the most common types of attacks, looked at real-life cases, and gave a lot of practical advice and recommended practices. We looked at the closely related topic of the NIS 2 directive, its implementation, and discussed the overall approach to corporate security.

We also briefly introduced our application dTASK, which is a smart assistant not only in the field of audit and can facilitate the processing of the audit itself, but especially its central registration.

We would like to thank all registered participants for their interest and interesting discussions and we hope that we have helped to shed light into the still dark corners of the cyber world. We would also like to thank the Institute of Internal Auditors and look forward to working with them again.

If you are more interested in the topic of cyber security auditing, are looking for an external auditor or need advice or training for your employees, please do not hesitate to contact us.
