Hradec Králové was alive with internal audit
In mid-April we participated in a workshop for internal auditors from public administration, where we had in cooperation with the organizing Czech Institute of Internal Auditors again had the opportunity to present our experience in the field of audit and cybersecurity.
The lecture, which was led by ITS CEO Lumír Srch Jr. together with experienced internal auditor Libor Štourač, focused on how to deal with a cyber security audit as an internal auditor without deep knowledge of IT issues. The gentlemen advised how to approach the whole audit, how to make your work easier and why it is worth introducing formalisation - at least for part of the audit processes.
To illustrate the current situation, we asked via online surveys , for example, how auditors themselves assess their knowledge in the area of cyber security, or what an audit means to them and how they would define it. The results were not only interesting, but above all they confirmed the fact that this whole area is very much alive and there is still room to move forward.
The presentation traditionally included our dTASK application stand, where the auditors present had the opportunity to compete for beautiful prizes. We gave away not only experience, advice and recommendations, but also a little bit of that joy.
The event was also connected with traditional networking, where we met familiar faces and made new contacts. We very much appreciate the fact that some entities contacted us immediately after the event with interest in cooperation.
Thank you again for your cooperation CIIA and we look forward to the national conference in Mikulov.
