Quantum safe as a topic for the (near) future?
Is quantum safe the topic of the future? Undoubtedly yes, and we are talking about a future that is not as far away as it might seem at first glance - and as predictions were even relatively recently.
The development of technology and quantum computing is accelerating and the frontiers continue to be pushed. The use of quantum computing for commercial purposes is far from being the virtual thing it might have seemed a few years ago, perhaps even a few months ago.
Why to "solve" Quantum safe today was discussed with us in great detail by one of the most authoritative experts on this issue, Mr. Martin Švík, who works as a technology director at IBM for the region of Northern, Central and Eastern Europe, during our workshop "Encrypt, and could I see it?", which took place on 12 November 2024 in Prague's Don Giovanni Hotel.
The whole event was introduced by the CEO of ITS Lumír Srch Jr. and in conjunction with Mr. Martin Švík , they explained not only the principle of quantum computers, but above all the important context - what it means in practice in relation to data security, what will be the impact of the development and also what are the current options for securing data.
The topic is undoubtedly not only interesting, but also very serious and we are glad that our clients and other interested parties, e.g. from the banking sector, as well as many other companies, pay adequate attention to it, and that thanks to the workshop we were able to answer many questions - including the basic one, which was the subtitle of the whole event: why your data will no longer be safe in 5 years.
If you missed the workshop and are wondering how future developments in this area may affect your operations and your business, please do not hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to help you find a solution.

We thank all clients and interested parties for their participation and the packed conference room, we appreciate your interest and look forward to seeing you again at a future event. Last but not least, thank you again to Mr. Švík for a fantastic presentation and a lot of interesting information.
