Why address cyber security?

This and much more was the topic of the workshop we prepared "on a turnkey basis" for REGONIK CZ, which deals with HVAC systems and supplies electronics for transport vehicles, especially trains.

The aim of the workshop, which was conducted by our experienced specialist and expert in, among other things, information technology auditing, was to get acquainted with the issue of cyber security and have a comprehensive overview of current threats, their impact and modern security options in this direction. They talked about backups, protection of end stations and "portable" devices and more.

We also focused on the topic of the NIS2 Directive and other legislative obligations, where we clarified the categorisation and specific requirements. But we also steered towards what our main motto is - you shouldn't primarily address cyber security because of regulations, but to really secure your data, corporate assets and the running of your business in general. The subject of discussion then was just business continuity and other related areas such as the aforementioned backups.

We are very grateful to all representatives of the Czech and Slovak REGONIK companies and their partners for their interest in cooperation and trust in us and we believe that the workshop brought a lot of essential information - it clearly opened up topics for reflection and for setting up new measures and processes that will help to achieve this in the complex.

Because the level of security needs to be constantly monitored and, if possible, constantly increased.
