What's missing from the schoolroom theory? Practice!

In addition to preparations for the final exams, the spring months are traditionally associated with compulsory student internships, which we at ITS consider to be a very important part of education - especially in a field such as information technology.
That's why in the last week of April we welcomed the first students from the Private High School of Computing in Prosek, Prague, with whom we have been cooperating for a long time not only in the framework of internships.
The students from the second, and subsequently also the third year, share a desire for knowledge and a focus on cybersecurity.
And we believe that with the range of activities that we have at ITS, we have a lot to offer them - from the opportunityto try out different technologies or tools that they only encounter in theory at school, to the opportunity to ask experienced experts about anything they are interested in, to putting many things into context - just by meeting them in a real environment.
We sincerely hope that the short time allotted to the students will be beneficial for them and that they will be able to draw on these two weeks in the future. More than anywhere else, it is in IT that we perceive the difference between the knowledge gained in our studies and contact with the real world.
And we see our role in this as well. To offer these new talents a broader range of opportunities, to help guide them towards the right specialisation that will continue to entertain and fulfil them professionally in the future.
After all, we will all soon depend on this generation of future IT specialists. That is why we consider it our duty to participate at least in a small way in their preparation.
